Neighborhood House is deeply saddened by the passing of Philip M. McGoohan, past Board President (1983 through 1986) and longtime NH leader. Mr. McGoohan served on NH’s Board of Directors from 1980 until 1995. In 1996, he joined NH’s Honorary Board. Under his leadership as NH’s President, he very ably led NH through very difficult times. Costs were skyrocketing, demand  for services exploded and projected revenues did not meet expectations. He successfully led a $1.5 million capital campaign that exceeded its goal. This campaign enabled NH to not only refurbish its facilities, it also established an endowment fund that provides financial stability through today. Services will be held on January 12, 2021.
