Community Unity Day 2017 a High-Flying Good Time!

Community Unity Day

Thank you to all who joined us on August 18th for our annual back-to-school celebration: Community Unity Day! We took to Neighborhood House’s beautiful outdoor space to gather with music, food, face painting, and henna tattoos. Plus, our kids put their business skills to the test selling goods including handmade bracelets, fresh cupcakes, lemonade, and other sweet treats.

The free throw competition and performances by our very own Summer Camp students were major highlights from the day. Plus, the performance by the incredibly talented Milwaukee Flyers tumbling group left the crowd in awe. Check out the pictures below from the day, and visit our Facebook page for more.

We can’t wait to see what next year’s event has in store!
