Neighborhood House’s Young Star 5 Early Childhood Program is among the top 7% in the city and has a long legacy of excellence. It is also rated as “Exceeds Expectations by United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha Counties.

We offer quality care that challenges young minds, develops social and emotional skills and gets kids, ages 6 weeks to 5 years, ready for school regardless of income. Hands on sensory exploration, storytelling and rich experiences in the natural world.

WI Shares accepted. Scholarships are available.

Early Headstart

For families with children ages 6 weeks to 2 1/2 with childcare subsidy, incomes below federal poverty guidelinesworking or student parents, parents of children with special needs and/o families with foster children. Infant formula and diapers are provided in class.

Preschool and Early Child Care

Provides a safe, intimate setting where children ages 6 weeks to 6 years can learn, explore, play, and grow. YoungStar 5-star rated, and long recognized for excellence in early childhood education, ECP is focused on social/emotional and physical growth that leads to school readiness. The caring staff is highly accredited and maintains low student-teacher ratios.
