The Community Learning Center at Albert Story School, now in its third year, is a partnership with Milwaukee Public Schools. Over a hundred kids get academic enrichment and after school activities throughout the school year. See how they learn.[slideshow]
Students toured Feeding America and learned how it works. Donations come from food companies, supermarkets, and farmers. The food goes to church groups and other organizations who distribute to people who need it. And it’s free. Students want to come back to volunteer.[slideshow]
It’s Pumpkin Time, and our Early Childhood kids picked their own today. Thirty-one young ones went to Bartel’s Fruit Farm in Mequon for a hands-on day picking pumpkins, running through fields, and checking out tractors.
