“She said the best part of the project was visiting the preschool class and meeting the children who attend it, while their parents learn in another room. They were very excited to meet the “voice” that was reading all the stories to them and listened intently as they chose books for her to read to them that morning. An additional benefit is that these parents, just learning English themselves, borrow the books and experience the joy of reading to their children at home, learning together by following along. ”

The ILC will accept more donations of books on CD. For information, call ILC at 414-344-4777, or Girl Scout Troop Leader Teresa Jones at 262- 594-5674.
