Every little thing’s gonna be all right — Teacher Ryan’s class sang these gently reassuring words from Bob Marley at our annual Holiday Party. This year there was a rich program of performances by students and teachers, including Christmas Carols in Karen and English, a Burmese Chin song, an international New Year’s presentation, a Vietnamese tradition of giving out money-filled red envelopes, and a lively Bamboo dance. Of course Santa made an appearance as well. Even though there were some tears as students reflected on how far they have come, the looks on their faces in these photos suggest that maybe every little thing will be all right. Many thanks to all staff, students, and volunteers who participated.
