The U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service has partnered with Neighborhood House in funding Resource Assistant Donald Harris’s involvement in our Environmental Education program. He has learned about leading ecological lessons and enacting habitat projects. In March, he and our Environmental Education staff taught hundreds of students the Maple Sugaring process at our Nature Center in Ashippun. Recently, the Forest Service featured Donald and our Maple Sugaring adventures on their site. Check it out here!
