Inspiring confident leaders and lifelong learners for a stronger community.

Supporting childhood development and fostering lifelong relationships.

Neighborhood House of Milwaukee, a community center in the settlement house tradition, was founded to help strengthen children and families in the city’s under-served neighborhoods. Since 1945, our programs have touched the lives of nearly a million youth and adults. Our award winning programs serve infants and toddlers, school-age and teen youth, adults and families, refugees and immigrants.

“Often what we do to help families is not written into our programs… We are a neighbor in every sense of the word. .”

— Ray Richardson, Executive Director 1958-87
