Exceptional Child Care
Neighborhood House’s Young Star 5 Early Childhood Program is among the top 7% in the city and has a long legacy of excellence. It is also rated as “Exceeds Expectations by United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha Counties. We offer quality care that challenges young minds, develops social and emotional skills and gets kids ready for school regardless of income. Our programs emphasize hands on sensory exploration, storytelling and rich experiences in the natural world. WI Shares accepted.
Early Headstart (6wks - 2.5yrs)
This subsidized program is designed for challenged families with children ages 6 weeks to 2 1/2, incomes below federal poverty guidelines, working or student parents, parents of children with special needs and/or families with foster children. In partnership with Nextdoor Foundation, this program provides top rated early education, year round care, nutritious meals and snacks, diaper provisions, family support & resources, and health screenings.
Preschool and Early Child Care (6wks - 5yrs)
Provides a safe, intimate setting where children ages 6 weeks to 5 years can learn, explore, play, and grow. YoungStar 5-star rated and long recognized for excellence in early childhood education, ECP is focused on social, emotional, and physical growth that leads to school readiness. The caring staff is highly accredited and maintains low student-teacher ratios.
