Holiday Showcase
This event at NH will explore the history of winter holiday celebrations, including Kwanzaa, Hanukah, and Christmas. Families will enjoy a meal, a holiday performance prepared by NH students, and a hands-on winter holiday craft.
Hmong New Year
Hmong New Year (December). Families will head over to the State Fair Expo Center for the annual Hmong New Year celebration to learn about and enjoy the traditions of this cultural group.
ILP Holiday Pot Luck
Let’s celebrate the holidays together! Join us for singing, eating, dancing, playing games, and presents. Bring your favorite dish from your country to share and immerse yourself in cultural cuisine from around the world.

Inspiring Discovery Gala
Celebrate our 80th anniversary with us at Discovery World. We are bring together our staff, family, and friends to look back at our history and look forward to a bright future serving our community.
Hosted by our favorite Meterologist Mark Baden, this event features a cocktail hour, silent auction, dinner, keynote speakers, and award ceremony.

Neighborhood House of Milwaukee is teaming up with Milwaukee Riverkeeper for an Adopt-a-River Cleanup September 6.
🕙 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
📍 Meet at the Hank Aaron State Trail near Valley Fields Parking Lot (under the 16th Street viaduct off Canal St).
Bring your energy, your friends, and help us keep Milwaukee’s rivers clean and thriving!

River Clean Up

Earth Day Neighborhood Clean up
Calling volunteers and nature lovers! Join us, Historic Concordia, and Near Westside Partners in a neighborhood clean up. From 10 to 12pm, we will be beautifying our lovely neighborhood. Afterward, there will be gardening and hands on activities at the the garden park. gloves and bags will be provided.
Health Fest
Connect with healthcare professionals to receive basic check ups, consultation, healthy snacks and hygiene kits.
Family Maple Sugar Day
Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for Maple Sugar Day! Learn about the process of maple sugaring, enjoy some of the hands-on activities that day -- and maybe even try some fresh sap from a tapped Maple tree! Complexions Contemporary Ballet
Celebrating its 30th season, Complexions Contemporary Ballet seeks to remove traditional boundaries and embrace the beauty of differences by presenting courageous programming and encouraging dancers to be authentically themselves. Complexions has toured in over 25 countries on 5 continents and are thrilled to perform in Milwaukee for the first time ever!

Family Kite Day
Join us at the lakefront to explore kites. Each person will make their own kites to fly. We will have a special giveaway. Educational Kite Kit and Lunch will be provided. RSVP Here
Open Hike at NHNC
Get away from the city and join us at our Nature Center in Dodge County for some fresh air! The NHNC will be open to the public for hiking for free. Bring the kids, bring the pets, and bring your hiking boots. We have a lot of trails to explore.
