OUR PROGRAMS
Early Childhood Program
Offers children, ages 6 weeks to 5 years, year round quality care that inspires and challenges young minds, develops social and emotional skills, and gets them ready for school. Hands on sensory exploration, storytelling, and rich experiences in the natural world fill the day. Currently designated by YoungStar as a 5-star program.
Youth Programs
For ages 5 weeks to 18 years, NH’s youth programming features exciting enrichment activities, sports, arts and cultural sessions as well as field trips to places of interest and events. Weekly visits to our 90-acre Nature Center and various local community venues provide entertaining, hands-on science activities, hiking, bird watching and many other summer pastimes.
International Learning Program
Refugees and immigrants from more than two dozen countries come to our International Learning Program (ILP) for English as a Second Language classes along with math, computer literacy instruction, and job readiness skills. ILP also assists students with preparing for U.S. citizenship with 68 of our students becoming citizens in FY2023.
Science Environmental Experiences
We provide science and environmental education for youth of all ages as well as their families in a fun and entertaining manner. These programs mainly operate at our 90-acre Nature Center in Dodge County along with day trips to other points of interest.
Community Services
Understanding that a strong community consists of healthy individuals and families, NH offers health and wellness events and fun family adventures. Offerings include an annual health fair, flu immunization events, workshops, and health screenings. NH also provides free or low cost events designed to inspire, educate, and strengthen families, empowering parents to serve as their children’s teachers. NH also presents a variety of events specifically serving NH families that celebrate holiday, cultural, and programming benchmarks.
